The Rockingham Barracks has the distinction of being one of two barracks in the state whose coverage area spans three counties, giving them a complex area in which to work.
Within Windsor County, where we provide primary police service to the towns of Andover, Baltimore, Cavendish, and Weston. The southern part of our patrol area lies in Windham County, where we cover the towns of Athens, Grafton, Londonderry, Rockingham, Westminster, and Windham. To our west, the Bennington County towns of Peru and Landgrove also fall within our service area. We also provide back-up and assistance as requested to the Chester, Ludlow, Springfield, Weathersfield, Winhall, and Windsor Police Departments. Additionally, we're responsible for patroling nearly 36 miles of Interstate 91.
The Rockingham Barracks is also the home of the Rockingham Communication Center.
