Traffic Safety Unit is comprised of several active enforcement Traffic Operations Teams. The unit also serves as the liaison with other traffic safety program managers such as the Governor's Highway Safety Program, the Department of Motor Vehicles and the Agency of Transportation. It is also responsible for collecting and analyzing crash data, reviewing traffic policies and traffic program operations, by providing Troopers with equipment and training for crash investigation and highway safety initiatives.
