Royalton Barracks

Royalton Barracks

Located in the town of Royalton, the Royalton Barracks provides police coverage throughout Windsor, Orange, and Addison Counties. We provide primary law enforcement services for the towns of  Brookfield, Braintree, Chelsea, Randolph, Tunbridge, Strafford, Granville, Hancock, Rochester, Bethel, Royalton, Sharon, Stockbridge, Barnard, Pomfret, Bridgewater, Plymouth, Reading, and Hartland. This coverage is augmented by our strong relationship with the Windsor, Orange, and Addison County Sheriff's Offices.  We also provide assistance as requested to Hartford, Norwich, Woodstock, Windsor (West Windsor), Randolph and Royalton police departments as requested.  The Royalton Barracks patrols  284 miles of interstate and state roads within Windsor, Orange, and Addison counties.

The Royalton Barracks covers the major junction of Interstates 91 and 89, and many miles along both interstates.  During peak travel hours the barracks is very busy with traffic patrols at the interstate junctions and beyond.  Due to our central location and large conference room it is common for state agencies to schedule meetings at the Royalton BarracksRoyalton Troopers at Inspection

The  Royalton Barracks regularly meets with its Community Advisory Panel, to discuss local concerns and relate important information to community members.  If you would like to be a part of our Community Advisory Board, please contact the station commander at 802-234-9933.
