Staff Operations falls under the Support Services Division and oversees several operational functions of the department.
Office of Professional Development
Also known as the Training division, the Office of Professional Development is responsible for both the recruitment and initial training of new Troopers, as well as in-service training for all members.
Alarms
Staff Operations administers the State Police Alarm Response policy, which is intended to reduce the number of false alarms that Troopers respond to.
Office of Technology Management
This unit is charged with maintaining the State Police's computer network, mobile data computers, cell phones and pagers and other necessary technologies.
Fleet Services
Fleet Services is responsible for the care and maintenance of the department’s motor vehicle fleet
