In July 2016, the Vermont State Police opened a new barracks in Westminster, just off from Interstate 91 at Exit 5. The new barracks replaced older buildings in Rockingham and Brattleboro. From the Westminster Barracks, troopers provide coverage for southeastern Vermont along Interstate 91.
