Our Traffic Safety Program is the liaison with other state of Vermont traffic safety managers such as the Governor's Highway Safety Program, the Department of Motor Vehicles and the Agency of Transportation. It is also responsible for collecting and analyzing crash data, reviewing traffic policies and traffic safety operations, by providing troopers with equipment and training for crash investigation and highway safety initiatives.
The Vermont State Police is an active partner with the Vermont Highway Safety Alliance and strives to work toward the goals in the Vermont Strategic Highway Safety Plan.
