Westminster Barracks

In July 2016, the Vermont State Police opened a new barracks in Westminster, just off from Interstate 91 at Exit 5. The new barracks replaced older buildings in Rockingham and Brattleboro. From the Westminster Barracks, troopers provide coverage for southeastern Vermont along Interstate 91.

Shaftsbury Barracks

Shaftsbury TroopersThe Shaftsbury Barracks consists of a Station Commander, 11 uniformed troopers, 4 Patrol Commanders, 2 detectives and 2 administrative staff. Although one of the smaller stations in the state, the barracks is a vital part of the county’s community relations, critical criminal investigations and aggressive highway safety enforcement.

New Haven Barracks

New Haven BarracksLocated in New Haven, the New Haven Barracks provides police coverage throughout Addison County. We provide primary law enforcement services for the towns of Addison, Bridport, Bristol Town, Cornwall, Ferrisburgh, Goshen, Leicester, Lincoln, Monkton, New Haven, Orwell, Panton, Ripton, Salisbury, Shoreham, Starksboro, Waltham, Weybridge and Whiting.

Rutland Barracks

We provide primary law enforcement services for the towns of Benson, Chittenden, Clarendon, Danby, Hubbardton, Ira, Mendon, Middletown Springs, Mt. Holly, Mt.

The St. Johnsbury Barracks and its Bradford satellite outpost provide police coverage throughout Caledonia and Essex Counties, including primary law enforcement services for the towns of Barnet, Burke, Concord, Corinth, Danville, East Haven, Fairlee, Granby, Groton, Guildhall, Kirby, Lunenburg, Newark, Newbury, Peacham, Ryegate, Sheffield, Stannard, the town of St. Johnsbury, Sutton, Topsham, Vershire, Victory, Walden, Waterford, West Fairlee, and Wheelock.

Berlin Barracks

Berlin BarracksLocated in the heart of Vermont, the Berlin State Police barracks covers a wide range of area in central Vermont.  Our patrol areas include rural farmland, mountainous ski resorts, and a busy section of Interstate surrounding the State Capitol.  Formerly located in Middlesex, the barracks moved to a newly renovated facility in Berlin in June 2022.
